Ville Aux Cent Clocher (2018) reçoit le 2e prix au concours JTTP 2018 (CEC)

Recent works by young and/or emerging composers and sound artists from or living in Canada are featured in the 19th edition of Jeu de temps / Times Play, coordinated annually by the CEC since 2000. JTTP 2018 events include a special concert in the Sound Junction festival, produced by the University of Sheffield Sound Studios in April 2019.

Jeu de temps / Times Play (JTTP) is an annual project aimed at supporting and encouraging new electroacoustic works by young and/or emerging sound artists from / living in Canada. A diverse international jury selects five prize-winning works. A focus issue of eContact! features all submissions to the project, and a number of international radio broadcasts and concert performances are coordinated each year. Several past winners have gone on to win prizes in other renowned electroacoustic competitions internationally, such as Bourges, Métamorphoses and the SOCAN Foundation Awards.

De nouvelles pièces de compositeurs, jeunes ou émergents, originaires du Canada ou qui y vivent, sont présentées dans le cadre de la 19^e édition de Jeu de temps / Times Play (JTTP), un concours annuel organisé par la CEC depuis 2000. La programmation de JTTP 2018 comprend un concert spécial présenté dans le cadre du festival Sound Junction, produit par l’University of Sheffield Sound Studios (USSS) en avril 2019.

Jeu de Temps / Times Play (JTTP) est un projet annuel qui fait la promotion de nouvelles œuvres de compositeurs et artistes sonores, jeunes et émergents, originaires ou vivant au Canada. Un jury international sélectionne cinq œuvres lauréates. Un numéro spécial de eContact!est consacré aux œuvres proposées pour le concours et un certain nombre de diffusions radiophoniques et de présentations en concert sont organisées chaque année. Plusieurs des anciens lauréats ont par la suite remporté d’autres prix lors de prestigieux concours internationaux de musique électroacoustique, notamment Bourges, Métamorphoses et les prix de la Fondation SOCAN.
